EU Structured Dialogue

Latvian Scouts and guides discussed #EUstructuredDialogue #EUyouthDialogue priorities – youth work and employment. Participants reflected that they need to be trained for new #lifeskills what job market is requesting. They emphasise that quality youth work, support to the youth workers (also volunteers, such as scout/guide leaders) are very important.

Youngsters admitted that their active participation in scouting and guiding definitely helps them learn useful skills for future job market, as well as it gives them self confidence and safe environment for self development – such as speaking up, leadership and active citizenship skills!
